Open Visit to Hartford on MLK Weekend

Join members of The Myanmar Project this Saturday (1/18) as we make one of our monthly visits to Hartford, where we help a group of teenaged Burmese refugees settle in to life in the U.S.!

We’ll be leaving from York & Crown at 9AM, and will return before brunch ends.

This is a fantastic opportunity to participate first-hand in one of TMP’s principal activities, and engage with a group of inspiring young teenagers. On the visit, you will be helping us deliver workshops on English communication and public speaking to the students. What better way to start off your MLK weekend than in the service of others? All members of the Yale community are welcome!

Please email kornvuthi.lapprathana@yale.edu if you’re interested in attending.
